Bob (Robert Lee) Hendren is a Church of Christ minister. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 28, 1930. He became a Christian in 1955 while serving in the US Marine Corps. Later, he received his Bachelors degree from David Lipscomb College, his Masters from Louisiana State University and his Doctor of Philosophy from LSU in 1970. He spoke at many evangelism conferences in the 1970s. He is an accomplished teacher especially in exposition of Scripture. He was the lead translator for 2 Timothy in the New King James Bible Translation.
