Ken has been a disciple of Jesus since July, 1978. He was raised in a Jewish family, avidly attended Hebrew school, and Bar Mitzvah at the age of 13. He veered away from God during his latter teen years and became involved in gangs, drugs and crime. In an attempt to remove himself from his deviant environment, Ken volunteered for the Peace Corps where he worked in Botswana, Africa for the next two years. It wasn’t until he returned to the United States and attended Texas A&M, that through the outreach of a Crossroads Church of Christ influenced “Soul Talk” he was baptized into Christ.
He then moved to Gainesville, Florida and attended the Crossroads Church of Christ, and gained a vision for what a New Testament church should be like. He graduatined with a degree in Architecture from the University of Florida, and then moved to Boston Massachusetts. It was during his time in Boston that he married his beautiful wife Liliana, and had three children (Zachary, Kendra and Zeke).
He lived in Boston for 18 years and entered full time ministry there. Then, Ken and his family moved to Orlando, Florida to work as an associate minister for the Orlando Church of Christ. In 2005, Ken (and his family) stepped out of the ministry and worked as a high school teacher in Gainesville, Florida. Three years later, he (and his family) moved to Los Angeles for 8 years to help build a new church while continuing to teach school. While in Los Angeles, Ken received his Master’s degree in Education from Pepperdine University. And from there, he and his family moved to Sarasota to plant a new church.
Ken presently teaches at a Sarasota charter school and works as the Evangelist for the Sarasota Christian Fellowship. Ken has actively pursued the Cross for nearly 40 years without wavering in his convictions that there is only one way to serve the Lord—with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
We strive to produce material that is biblical, life-changing, grace-filled, and calls people to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
